FROM JO COMMISSIONER, KRIS DORSEY – We are excited to provide new dates for some exciting events to be hosted in Georgia in 2025.

1. The date for the 2025 HPP Identifier is Sunday, April 6 at Twin Creeks Park in Woodstock. You can learn more about the event by clicking this link: https://www.usasoftball.com/hpp/
2. We will be hosting the 2025 12U All American Games tryouts in March & April. The NEW 14U tryouts will be conducted in Florida. More information will be available in December. The dates for the 12U All American Games are August 7-10, and the 14U are August 3-6 at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
3. USASB of GA will be the host of the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, & 18U National Championships June 26-29, 2025, at Twin Creeks Park in Woodstock and Shaw Park in Marietta. More information will be available in December.
NOTE: A special “thanks” to the Cherokee County and Cobb County recreation department leadership for being terrific partners with USASB of GA.

USA SOFTBALL REGISTRATION –The USASB of GA registration period runs September 1 through August 31 each year. NOTE: Even though many of you have completed tryouts for next season, remember not to register your team, players, and coaches until September 1.
a. Coaches BG Check, Safe Sport, and ACE certifications are good through August 31. This also includes ALL adults/players 18 years of age or older, and ALL assistant coaches (see SAFE SPORT below).
b. NEW: Teams choosing to earn a Georgia berth in a National Championship event (qualifiers, Gold Nationals, JO Cup, National Championships) only need to complete the “Team” registration process.
c. Teams choosing to only play in Invitational tournaments need only to “Team” register your team on the registerusasoftball.com website.
d. After you have registered your team and/or players any inquiries you have need to have the Team ID# attached in the communication with me.
e. If you contact me for any information concerning a registration matter please remember to include your “Team ID#”.
f. SAFE SPORT - All coaches and players 18 years old at any point during the season must complete the “Safe Sport” certification to be approved on a J.O. roster. This is a law that has been legislated for all youth sports National Governing Bodies. Additionally, all USASB of GA teams must have ALL their coaches complete the ACE certification. Listed below is the “Safe Sport How To Guide”. This guide will help you easily navigate the Safe Sport Program.
