NCAA National Champion - Hitting/Fielding Instructor

Coach Burns' Bio:

Burns started all 229 games from her freshman year through senior year at the short stop position. She led NCAA powerhouse, University of North Georgia, to their first National Championship in 2015 where she received World Series All-Tournament honors. Burns finished the World Series with a .438 batting average at the plate, that included 2 home runs and 7 runs batted in at the World Series alone. At the end of her senior campaign, she was announced the program’s MVP.

Over the course of Burns’ career at UNG, the program received 3 Peach Belt conference tournament championships, made 3 super-regional appearances, and a NCAA National Championship. Burns made multiple contributions to the team that led to 139 RBIs and 34 Home runs.
