It is one thing to have a nice swing, but something completely different to be able to hit well in games. Before you can be successful in games, you have to use visual skills to quickly collect complete, accurate pitch information. Then you need mental skills to figure out what you have seen and decide what to do about it. After that, you must have a level of trust that allows you to violently attack the right pitches. Our instruction and your commitment to the intent of a Controlled Explosion will involve the mental, visual, and physical parts of hitting instead of simply focusing on a pretty swing that does not work in the real game.
